Plan my Cairo tripOctober through December is the busiest period for international tourists. Christmas/New Year and Easter are specific peaks with highest hotel prices near the pyramids.
June through August offers the lowest prices but oppressive heat (40°C+) makes pyramid visits miserable. The trade-off rarely justifies the savings.
November through February provides the best conditions for pyramid visits, desert excursions, and walking through Islamic Cairo with temperatures of 15-20°C.
