PlanoFebruary to April and July to August tend to be the driest periods, though Singapore's equatorial climate means rain is possible any day. The temperature barely varies (27-28°C). Time your visit around events — Chinese New Year, the F1 Grand Prix, or the Great Singapore Sale — rather than weather.

February to April brings slightly drier conditions and Chinese New Year festivities. Temperature remains constant at 27-28°C year-round. Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay are slightly less crowded.
June through August is drier and coincides with the Great Singapore Sale. The F1 night race in September transforms Marina Bay. School holidays bring family crowds.
September brings the F1 Grand Prix excitement. October sees increasing monsoon rain. The city's indoor attractions — museums, malls, hawker centres — are year-round draws regardless of weather.
November to January is the wettest period but also the most festive. Christmas light-up on Orchard Road and New Year celebrations at Marina Bay are spectacular. Rain usually comes in short, intense bursts.
